Pacific Cornerstone Architects

Pacific Cornerstone Architects, Inc. (PCA) was a full‑service San Diego–based design firm providing integrated architectural services to clients beginning in 1994. The studio embodied the belief that true operational excellence—streamlined processes and a frictionless workflow—comes from community and connection.

Their workspace was anchored by exposed heavy‑timber glulam beams and expressive ductwork, creating an honest, tactile backdrop for the firm’s design culture. An open office layout supported daily collaboration, while multiple conference rooms and Haworth modular wall systems offered flexibility for focused work, team sessions, and evolving project needs.

Abundant natural light filled the interior, reinforcing a sense of wellbeing and supporting a culture where emotional intelligence, equity, and personal success were valued as essential components of practice. The result was a timeless, inviting environment that elevated both the craft of architecture and the people who shaped it.
